Program Overview
This is your preferred option if you are an ocean lover and you want to add a MarineBio focus to your Padi Divemaster training. This program starts on fixed dates.
On top of the Padi Divemaster training in Lembongan , you will specialise in a 2 weeks MarineBio program by focusing on marine biology activities led by our experienced in-house Marine Biologist.
Theory Modules
- Introduction to coral reef ecosystems
- Categorization of the environment
- Coral ecology Coral monitoring/survey techniques, study and restoration of corals
- Marine Protected Areas
- Typical megafauna in Nusa Penida (Manta rays, …)
- Scientific Diving
- Introduction to coral reef ecosystems
- Present marine biology topics

- Reef check eco diver certification course (with certification)
- Fish ID workshops
- Coral ID workshops
- Coral reef ecological survey techniques
- Marine underwater photogrammetry
- Manta ray ID / Turtle ID
- Collaboration with NUANSA PULAU COMMUNITY for activities in coral restoration and conservation
Duration
This will be a comprehensive 6 weeks program (1 day off/week) including
- Padi Divemaster course (around 4 weeks)
- Airport transfer
- 1 roundtrip fastboat transfer Bali/Lembongan
Optional add-ons available
- Accommodation in a simple AC room with own shower room and breakfast (450 usd for 6 weeks)
- Gear rental (200 usd for the duration of the program)
